Amber Alert issued in Alamogordo for 12 year old girl
(Alamogordo, New Mexico) – At approximately 3:00 p.m., the state police issued an Amber Alert at the request of the Alamogordo Department of Public Safety for a missing 12 year old girl named Cassie Larson. Cassie Larson’s mother took her to the Assembly of God Church located at 801 10th. St. in Alamogordo. Church workers reported to police that at approximately 10:00 a.m., Cassie Larson thought her mother had arrived early to pick her up and she left the church building alone. At approximately 11:40 a.m., her mother arrived and Cassie Larson could not be located.
Cassie Larson is a 12 year old white female. The is described as being 4 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs approximately 98 pounds. She has shoulder length brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing blue jeans and blue and white sneakers. Cassie wore a “volunteer” shirt to the church and it was found dropped on the north side of the building. Any other shirt description is unknown.
