SANTA FE- The New Mexico Law Enforcement Academy is getting ready to graduate fifty-seven cadets, all part of the Basic Police Officer Training Class #185. The ceremony takes place 10 a.m., Friday, June 14th at the Santa Fe Indian School Pueblo Pavilion Wellness Center, 1501 Cerrillos Road in Santa Fe.
This year’s graduates, having completed a rigorous 21 week training regiment and passing the Law Enforcement Officer Certification Exam, will be the latest group of officers to hit the streets of our state.
The officers represent 25 different agencies including Santa Fe, Los Lunas, Carlsbad and New Mexico Game and Fish (see attached list for all the cadets and their agencies).
Lt. Kevin Bruno of the New Mexico State Police will be the featured speaker for the graduation.
The Law Enforcement Academy continues to offer the highest training standards for law enforcement officers. The next Basic Officer Training Class will begin July 28th.
