Santa Fe — State Police will be conducting a Sobriety Checkpoint on Friday, April 27, 2012 in Santa Fe County.
The New Mexico State Police is continuing its efforts to decrease the number of our citizens killed or injured as a result of drunk drivers. The number of sobriety checkpoints increase at this time of the year to arrest drunk drivers and hopefully deter those who may be contemplating the poor decision to drink and drive.
Hundreds of lives could be saved each year if every driver had the courage to make the right decision.
