The New Mexico Department of Public Safety offers to the public the responsible and environmentally friendly way to dispose of these items. Our MedReturn drop box is located in the lobby of the Special Investigations Division office, 6301 Indian School Road, Suite 310, in Albuquerque. It is available 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday (closed during noon hour).

For those in the northern part of New Mexico, there is a MedReturn drop box in the lobby of the Taos Police Department, 107 Civic Plaza Drive, available during business hours.
